At BestStart Mangere East, we take pride in our commitment to quality early childhood education since our establishment in 2016. Initially licensed for 250 children and staffed with over 40 individuals, we've prioritized a shift towards smaller numbers to enhance the quality of teaching and learning. Our focus revolves around celebrating diversity, accommodating various cultures, religions, traditions, and values, and creating an inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported.

Nestled in the heart of the vibrant community of Mangere East, our centre is privileged to be surrounded by iconic landmarks like Massey Homestead and Mangere Mountain. We actively engage with our local schools, libraries, shopping centres, and cultural institutions, fostering strong connections that enrich our localized curriculum and extend learning beyond the classroom.

The Admin was very professional and friendly when I went in to enquire about a space for our granddaughter at BestStart Mangere East. Teachers when available communicated with me every day about granddaughter's day (not that they have to though). It's very well resourced. I like it that staff taught the children to take care of the resources by putting away the toys they've finished playing with. Friendly friendly staff. BestStart management take care of their staff by providing soft couches and adult size chairs. The rooms are all orderly and clean and tidy including outdoors.

Highly recommend, my son has been with this school since we moved over from Australia in 2020. He has learned a lot at this school and had fun along the way. My daughter joined him at his school a few weeks ago and she has already adapted to her school routine. It’s a bonus having the van service available as well

It felt warm and inviting and I know I can trust this school as my older son is already attending this school but will be leaving for primary next month.
