As a centre we were also proud to acknowledge and celebrate Te Wiki o te Reo Māori (Māori language week) and Uike Kātoanga’i ‘o e Lea Faka-Tonga (Tongan Language week). During this time the children learnt new songs, stories and greetings and we were lucky enough to have family and whanau come in to share more about their culture and traditions with us.
