Chinese New Year at BestStart Maui Street
On the 4th of February we celebrated Chinese New Year at BestStart Maui Street. A few days before, the children painted decorations and were able to take them home the next day. On the day everyone either wore red or dressed up in traditional Chinese clothing.
We had some wonderful traditional dancers come and perform for the children. Our Chinese teachers also prepared yummy food for everyone. We love celebrating different cultural events at Maui as it fits in with our vision of See Me, Know Me, Grow Me.
