Chinese New Year Celebrations 2022
Recently our centre celebrated Chinese New Year. Here are our nursery children making their red envelopes. A red envelope (hongbao in Mandarin) is a gift as a way to send good wishes. Wrapping lucky money in red envelopes is expected to bestow more happiness and blessings to the receivers. The colour red symbolises energy, happiness and good luck in Chinese culture.
