We have been busy over these last few days with our Holiday Programme here at BestStart Papamoa Plaza. Yesterday we had our Community Clean Up. Some of our tamariki went out into the community to pick up rubbish, and we also went around our own playground finding rubbish. It is important for tamariki to learn at a young age to be great Kaitiaki (guardians) and take care of our environment, this is also something that we value here at BestStart Papamoa Plaza - our centre Vision is 'Growing young kaitiaki'. We were very surprised by how much rubbish we picked up from our community.
