Today we experimented with colours by filling up three different container all with a different primary colour. The children then used droppers to suck up the coloured water and transfer it to an empty container.

They had fun experimenting with mixing all the different colours together to see how it would change. However, their favourite part of this activity was further developing their fine motor skills as they learnt how to use the droppers. The children are experiencing an environment where they can learn strategies for active exploration, thinking and reasoning.

They are developing working theories for making sense of the natural, social, physical, and material world.
