Confidence to ride!
At BestStart Heuheu Street KIndy we have built great connections with our local community. We have Cath from Bike Taupo who comes to us once a month who supports our tamariki with riding a bike.
Cath supports our tamariki to gain the confidence to ride a bike through different stages. We start off with a balance bike. This supports tamariki to gain confidence in being able to balance while moving. We then move on to the peddling stage, and will guide them through this as they practice riding until they have full confidence to do it on their own!
Having Cath from bike Taupo is a time that all the tamariki love! In return each of the tamariki learn valuable lessons!
