Constructing ramps and bridges
We wanted to share some photos with you of the amazing learning our tamariki have been enjoying over the past couple of days.
Constructing "bridges" and ramps with assorted pieces of wood and log sections was the central theme. This later evolved into a "The ground is lava" theme which prompted an impressive path to be built that stretched right around the physical challenge course.
Our fantastic teachers were able to support this learning opportunity by providing children with open ended materials, time and the freedom to explore, create, discover and be the decision makers of their own learning - or for them just another day of fun and learning and play!
