Cooling off!
During the month of November we have had lots of hot and muggy days. The tamariki love having the sprinkler over the swings and the slippery slide underneath. Tamariki could run underneath it or use the boogie board. Lots of fun was had by all. Tamariki took turns, helped their friends and tried out different moves. We have other water play areas for the tamariki that don't want to get wet, such as the trough in the sandpit. To follow our sustainable theme in our centre, the sprinkler is on for short amounts of time and not on high.
