Crafting for Christmas
We’ve been busy in our preschool room in the last few days at BestStart Clarence Street. One of our tamariki told us all a story of the Christmas tree he saw. Then asked about Christmas and if we had a Christmas tree. We decided to make our own tree to stick on the wall and spread the Christmas spirit, joys and wisdom of kindness. While we wait a little longer till December to put up our big Christmas tree and decorations, we researched some fun, exciting different ways to make our own for the wall. We printed out some stars and hearts and made Santa hats for our tamariki to decorate with glitter, and paint. It was such a positive, fun, and heart-warming experience. Here are our tamariki busy extending and sharing their creativity with each other and getting ready for Christmas!
