Crazy Hair Day at BestStart Botany Road
During lock down we connected as a learning community by having a Crazy Hair day, this day showed us just how creative our tamariki, whānau and kaiako are. When we returned to the centre we asked our tamariki what they enjoyed from BestStart@home, one of the responses was having the Crazy Hair Day and that they would like to do it again, so we made it happen.
On the day our Tamariki entered the centre with poho kererū, they had such a great time sharing their hair styles with their friends and kaiako. This experience helped to welcome everyone back to centre while making those important connections between the centre and home.
