At BestStart Lemon Street celebrating special occasions is really important to us and what better way to celebrate with a healthy cake option.  Kaiako and tamariki use fruit to make cakes for these occasions, we research and then tamariki and kaiako get to work working together to create amazing cakes.  We even made a baby carriage for our Kaiako Jennifer when she went on maternity leave.  

These delicious cakes support our Healthy Heart and Hauora (Hauora is a Māori philosophy of health unique to New Zealand) and they taste fabulous.
