At Te Manga and Te Awa, we had a beautiful and heartwarming celebration for Mother’s Day, filled with love, creativity, and special moments.
Throughout the week, our teachers and tamariki were busy preparing thoughtful surprises for all the amazing mothers and special women in our children’s lives. The tamariki enjoyed participating in a variety of art and craft experiences, creating meaningful keepsakes with excitement and joy.
Our teachers worked hard alongside the children to make lovely photo frames that were proudly taken home as Mother’s Day gifts. Each frame was made with care, creativity, and lots of love.
To make the celebration even more memorable, the rooms were beautifully decorated, and a special photo booth was created where tamariki could take adorable pictures with their friends and teachers. The smiles, laughter, and excitement throughout the week truly reflected the joy of celebrating such a special occasion.
On Friday morning, our whole centre came together to celebrate Mother’s Day with a lovely morning tea. It was wonderful to see families spending time together, sharing conversations, and enjoying the warm and welcoming environment created by our teaching team.
