Cultural Identity
In the preschool room the team have focused on learning about the different cultures in our room. We have so many different cultural identities to learn about. Some of our children had the opportunity to travel back to their home countries for different reasons. As a group we have had the opportunity to keep in touch with them and learn about their day to day life and cultural traditions. As well as that we have been following their travel on our world map. It has been the most amazing opportunity to send pictures and letters to our special friends and in return have pictures and letters sent back. What a great learning opportunity for all of us. We have just finished our new wall display and with the help of our amazing student Natasha we have all our children's name writen in Hindi. Natasha is from India and has been teaching all of us the different laguages she can speak. She has also bees sahring the different traditions that happen for her and her family.
