Father’s Day at our centre was filled with music, creativity, and joyful moments. With performances, crafts, and games, our tamariki and their dads celebrated together, building connection, pride, and meaningful memories that will be treasured for years to come.
We recently celebrated Father’s Day at our centre, a fantastic event dedicated to all our Super Dads who mean so much to their tamariki. The celebration was held in our playground, where laughter, music, and sunshine filled the air as we welcomed our fathers to join in the fun.
The tamariki were proud and excited to perform for their dads. They sang “D-A-D-D-Y”, “I Love My Daddy,” and danced to the lively “Daddy Dance.” Their enthusiasm and joy shone brightly, and it was heart-warming to see all the dads smiling and cheering for their little ones.
After the performance, everyone enjoyed a special craft activity where each dad and child decorated their own Father’s Day hat. The tamariki loved choosing colours, gluing shapes, and adding creative touches to make something unique for their dad. It was a wonderful bonding moment filled with laughter and pride.
We also played fun games that brought out everyone’s competitive and playful sides, with lots of cheering, running, and happy faces all around.
The event was a beautiful way to celebrate fatherhood, strengthen our whānau connections, and create lasting memories between our tamariki and their amazing dads.
