At BestStart Kamo Central Daffodil day looked a little bit different this year. Unfortunately, we could not be together due to the country being in level 4 lockdown. However, our centre was operating through our online learning, BestStart at home. If we were together at the centre we would have done a range of fun daffodil day themed activities, a yellow dress up day, and lots of fundraising. Instead, we celebrated in our homes by asking our whanau to go on a hunt around their homes to find anything yellow and take a photo to share with us.

During our online learning experience, we post different fun videos and activity ideas daily for the tamariki and their whanau to enjoy and help stay connected.

Staying connected is such an important thing when going through these challenging times, especially when things do not feel quite normal. This is where we really value our online learning platform through story park.
