As one of the first flowers of spring, the daffodil symbolises rebirth and new beginnings. To the Cancer Society, and many affected by cancer, the daffodil represents hope for a cancer-free future.

To raise awareness, this month our tamariki and kaiako dressed up in yellow and our classroom was full of yellow theme activities. Our art activities included fluffy yellow paint made from shaving foam where children got to experience different textures and got to do beautiful artwork as well as cute popsicle stick daffodil flowers which they decorated.

Ka pai for your awesome artwork this month!
