This month in Ruma Pukeko we've been enjoying exploring the indoor environment due to all the rain we've had. The children have loved exploring their body as we dance to our favorite CD Echo Fred. During these dance parties our children have been exploring how to hop, stretch, flop, jump and keep their bodies healthy through exercising.  The children in our room have also been exploring how to care for others as they explore the babies in our whanau area. During this play the children get to chance to recreate their own routines with the babies such as getting dressed, feeding, bottle time and nappy changes. It allows them to gain further knowledge around these care moments and act it out on the dolls.
