Dancing the night away
As part of our community involvement we hosted a disco with DJ Wrecklyss at BestStart Vivian Street.
We all had fun celebrating the end of the term by dancing the night away. For our families this was a fun way to get in some of that all important active movement, helping children realise that active movement can involve all members of their community and they can get their heart pumping in a fun and relaxing way.
Discos are a great way for parents to socialise with each other and the teachers in an environment the children are happy and excited to be in. The lights and music make it magical and exciting. It was awesome to see so many parents dancing with their children and really enjoying the vibe.
