We recently celebrated a beautiful day by taking the tamariki on a trip to the riverbank. We decided that we would do a dinosaur hunt with some frozen dinosaur eggs we had stored in the freezer. We took pictures of our hiding spots for our next group of children to use for clues.

We were very impressed with our tamariki navigational skills as they thought carefully about what they saw in the pictures before looking. After showing the children our first clue, Daniel shouted ‘its over there!’ Before leading the others away. From there on all the children wanted to be first to show the way. It was a very fun day!
