This month Bay Kindy has had great fun making resources and doing some wonderful learning experiences for Diwali. The Tamariki enjoyed making lanterns and painting pictures that look like fireworks while being taught what Diwali means and why as a centre we respect and engage in the wonderfulness of the celebration.

At the end of the week, we all dressed up and celebrated with some of our whanau with a delicious, shared kai which was enjoyed alongside of Chintamani playing his violine, who is also our centre cleaner, and it was so nice for him to take time out of his busy day to come and be with us at Kindy.
