Exploring at Te Akau Ki School

Here at BestStart Doncaster Drive Kindy, we are so lucky to have Te Akau Ki School right across the road from us. In the school holidays we always make the most of this.

This time our older children had great fun testing their climbing skills, they started of with the playground equipment, balancing and using their all their muscles on the monkey bars and  flying fox. However they soon discovered the cool big trees. They then all became monkeys choosing a tree to climb.

We love the way our children encourage and teach each other new skills. They watched each other carefully and worked out how to climb safely up into branches. We also got to test our speed and get our hearts beating racing each other across the field. We love to promote healthy living at Kindy and encourage the children to develop their physical skills on a daily basis.
