The group planning in the Moana Room is Exploration - today I focused on setting up activities that involved COLOURS.

When children learn about colours, it helps them to be more specific when describing an item for example “can I please play with the blue ball?”

Teacher Inderjit set up a really fun and colourful bubble activity yesterday, I used that idea to do bubble painting, so that the children could capture the colours of the bubble on paper - this was a very popular activity and the children really enjoyed capturing the colours.

There was a little potion station - this is were I setup dye water for the children to mix and see the change in colours. The children absolutely loved using pipettes to mix, stir and combine little bits and bobs into the containers.
