Exploring, creating and learning
This month was full of fun and learning for all of us. Children explored variety of physical, sensory, literacy, numeracy and creative activities through out the month.
This month we had planned theme days for our school holidays. Our focus was "exploration" where children along with their teachers were playing, imagining,inventing and experimenting different areas of curriculum. Children expressed their feelings and ideas by being creative through art and craft activities. Children explored basic concepts of science during science experiments such as Three forms of matter, Floating and sinking, mixing colors together and what cause weather change etc. Literacy and Numeracy was embedded in each curriculum activity where teachers were using the language in children's play such as shapes, numbers, patterns and sequence.
