Exploring our Bodies in Pepi Room
In the Pepi room at BestStart Tauranga Central we are exploring how our bodies work in the world around us. Our children are all at different developmental stages and have a variety of interests so we aim to cater to all through the experiences we provide. These experiences could be as small as feeling the water trickling over and between your hands, or feeling the weight of a cup of water as you tip and pour it into another cup using just one hand. We keep our bodies healthy and role model to each other through feeding our baby dolls, even keeping them clean with bibs, or sharing a picnic in a tent on a rainy day. We celebrate the little and big achievements and encourage problem solving to learn the different ways to success.
