Exploring painting mediums
In the Paua room at Montessori St Albans the children love to express themselves in creative ways. Recently we have enjoyed portrait paintings outside in our garden and exploring different mediums to paint with such as balloons, string, brushes and feathers.
This is giving us a great opportunity to express ourselves, develop our creativity and fine motor skills while learning strategies for active thinking, reasoning and exploration.
