Exploring Science
The children at BestStart Northwood love a good science experiment. Learning alongside their teacher and peers. Not knowing what is going to happen opens up so much communication between the children.
The preschool this month have been able to explore science so much. Learning about the world around them, using working theories.
Today the children enjoyed learning about what happens when mixing milk and dish washing liquid. Then what happens when they add food coloring . They're learning about colours, making a rainbow.
They're also learning that when the soap hit's the milk, it breaks down the fat particles on the surface, and this moves the colours around and makes patterns.
