The children at Marne Road Kindy have recently been interested in bugs and insects and have completed a large inquiry project learning about all the bugs and insects that live in and around our Kindy. To extend on this we were lucky to be able to spend the day exploring Butterfly Creek and the interest in bugs and insects soon spread into all living creatures as they were able to see farm animals, birds and have an encounter with the crocodile and kiwis

The children have spent the last three months exploring life cycles of butterflies, insects and birds so being able to explore all these in such an educational hands-on way was an amazing learning experiences for all the children full of laughs, wonder and awe as they had opportunities to see these bugs, insects, and animals in a close-up encounter.
