Exploring the Solar System
At BestStart Rototuna, we're passionate about inspiring growing minds and fostering a love for learning in our young children. This term, our focus in the preschool room was on exploring science, and we embarked on a fascinating journey to explore the solar system! One of our key projects involved creating a model of our solar system together.
Our children were filled with excitement as we gathered materials to represent the sun, planets, and even Saturn's ring! They enjoyed the process of painting the planets and attaching them to the board they had painted. Witnessing their teamwork and creativity was truly rewarding. Through this hands-on experience, the children gained valuable knowledge about our cosmic neighborhood. They learned the difference between galaxies and planets, and even discovered a fun fact about each cosmic object.
Most importantly, their natural curiosity was sparked, inspiring them to ask countless questions about the wonders of space. This project perfectly exemplifies our commitment to fostering a love for exploration and discovery in our young learners. By providing interactive and engaging experiences, we help them become curious, confident, and lifelong learners, ready to explore the universe of knowledge.
