Family and Community
Whanauatanga—Family and Community is an essential part of our philosophy. As a part of our recent Matariki celebration we wanted to give back to our community as we know they play an essential part in our centre and in the lives of our tamariki. The tamariki enjoyed bringing in their items each day to give to others and then gifting these to the local food bank to give our to other whanau in our community. What a wonderful opportunity for the tamariki to learn about empathy and giving.
