At BestStart St Lukes, Father’s Day was full of creativity, love, and connection. Tamariki crafted personalised gifts and shared them over a special morning tea, making it a memorable celebration for dads and families alike.
We had a wonderful time celebrating Father’s Day here at BestStart St Lukes in the Waita Room. We are grateful for the opportunity to honour all the incredible dads in our community.
Our little ones worked tirelessly to create special gifts for their dads, and we were amazed by their creativity and thoughtfulness. From handmade cards to personalised hand-painted mugs, each child poured their heart into making something truly special.
Throughout the week, the children participated in various activities to prepare their presents, including:
-
Creating beautiful drawings and paintings on mugs, showcasing their unique styles and developing fine motor skills.
-
Making thoughtful cards with wiggly lines, circles, spirals, dots, hearts, and other creative designs.
-
Expressing love and appreciation through messages written by the children and kaiako.
We were thrilled to see all the dads join us for a special Father’s Day morning tea. It was a lovely opportunity for children to share their creations and enjoy quality time with their dads.
