BestStart St Lukes is conveniently located across the road form Westfield St Lukes shopping mall. We are open from 7:30am to 6:00pm, welcoming children from birth to 6 years. We offer morning and afternoon tea as well as nutritious lunches

Located in the heart of St Lukes, our centre is a beautiful, purpose-built space designed to inspire creativity and exploration. The environment reflects our values of Haututū (Exploring), Auahatanga (Creativity), and Whakakata (Humour), providing a rich tapestry of learning experiences that encourage children to engage with the world around them.

At BestStart St Lukes, learning through play is central to our philosophy. Our practices and rituals are carefully designed to foster curiosity, independence, and a love of learning. We invite families to visit our centre, meet our amazing team of experienced and friendly teachers, and explore the enriching and fun learning environment we offer.

Our Team

Our dedicated team prides itself on creating a warm, loving environment for both infants and their families. We believe in the importance of partnership and value feedback to ensure we meet the needs of our community.

What We Offer

The difference in my son since starting has been amazing! He is confident now around other people, he still doesn’t speak even though he is over 2 but within the first week of him starting he was humming songs. He even comes home and shows us the actions to songs!

The teachers and staff are all amazing. They are like our second family here in NZ especially that my husband and I are not from here. Zoe loves it there too she gives everybody the best cuddles and even looks for them on the weekends. I love how my child explores more and is independent and I owe it all to her teachers. Staff, food, and toys are all very excellent standard!

I'm more than happy with the experience. Teachers are very informative, keep you updated with the progress of your child's learning, how he has been each day. Communication is the key and they excel in this area.
