Feeling proud!
We love it when our former BestStart Montessori Bethlehem tamariki come back to visit to show us their school uniform and tell us how easy their transition to school has been.
Another proud moment for the team at Montessori Bethlehem as the third sibling of the Meyer family reaches 5 years old and heads off to school. All three boys, Benjamin, Edward and Vincent started with us when they were just 18 months and mum has been coming to the centre for over nine years. We were delighted to hear mum is now pregnant with her fourth child and we may have the privilege of being a part of that child’s pre-school journey too.
Bethlehem Primary is one of our closest primary schools and we liaise closely with the new entrant teachers to ensure smooth transitions to school. We invite the new entrant teachers to come and visit the children at our centre, so they can get a good understanding of the skills and independence the children have developed during their time with us.
All three boys could independently ride a pedal bike, swing from the monkey bars, dress themselves, count to 100 and write their name, just to mention a few of the learning opportunities whilst at Montessori Bethlehem.
