Involving experts from our wider community to enrich children’s learning is a really important part of our philosophy at Richmond Kindy. Today the local Taupo Fire service visited our centre which gave the children the opportunity to learn about fire safety, explore the fire truck and ask lots of questions to further their knowledge. The children loved having a turn squirting the fire hose and looking around the fire truck and hearing the sirens! What an exciting learning experience for all.
