Fish and chip lunch at Beststart Parklands
Today as part of our holiday programme we celebrated the end of it with a fish and chip lunch!
Nga tamariki all bought in a few dollars and we had a huge list! We called our local fish and chip shop and had a huge shared kai!
This supports our vision and philosophy of belonging, being, becoming me!
Nga tamariki share a sense of belonging to their local community, being a part of the holiday program, and being themselves by Kaiako (respecting) all Whānau wishes of cultural requirements for Kai, eg vegetarian etc.
The tamariki sure had a full puku! (Tummy) afterwards.
