Every Friday we walk to our local cafe every Friday for a fluffy, we call it "Fluffy Fridays".

Fluffy Fridays is a regular event into our local community that generates excitement among, children, whanau and teachers at the end of every week. Our local cafe have purchased special little fluffy cups just for our regular visits and when we arrive every Friday morning, they Cafe staff have the tables pushed together with 8 little seats for our children.

On our walk to the cafe every Friday we have been watching the progression of new town houses being built on a construction site that we walk past each week, the children have enjoyed watching the new buildings come to life week by week. We are so lucky to have whanau support for Fluffy Fridays with Parents and Grandparents offering to help with the excursions and regular donations to help pay for the fluffies each week.

The regular customers at the local cafe smile when they walk into the cafe on Fridays and see all the children sitting so nicely enjoying their fluffies, they are always impressed with how politely the children sit in the cafe. Fluffy Friday is more than just a special treat at the end of the week, the children learn how to socialise and interact with their local community in a cafe environment, such important life skills!
