Fonterra come to visit
This morning we had a visit from Fonterra Tanker where they came and shared with the children about the different products made at their factory using milk. They talked to our children about the different cows and how they transported milk from the sheds. Our children also got the opportunity to look inside the tanker and have a feel of being up in the truck as well.
Following this our children will be going over to one of the teachers farm to see the process of milking and the Fonterra Tanker has offered to meet us at the farm and show the children how they transfer milk from the shed into the tanker.
We are looking forward to all the learning that will be happening for our children through this process.
