Sending Samuel to kindy during Level 3 was a difficult decision my husband and I we weren't sure as Samuel has compromised health but unfortunately, we both had to work. I was nervous how he would adapt to his new drop off routine and daycare "bubble". We talked about how things would look a little different and he took it like a champ and settled so well. The Girven Road team have gone above and beyond and we feel comforted that he was been taken well care of like normal by the teachers and appreciate the lengths they have gone to try to make daycare feel as normal as possible for him.

Frankie has loved being back at school and interacting with her teachers and friends, she missed them a lot during lockdown. The team at BestStart Girven road have been amazing, keeping in touch during lockdown and communicating about her return to school and the processes they put in place to keep everyone safe. We miss her the day but love the regular updates on Storypark and it's so helpful to focus on work without worrying about whether she's ok because we know she's safe and happy at daycare. I am writing to tell you how I felt about my children returning to the centre during alert level 3. So, I know with all that our country has been going through has been a tough time for most of us, no work, no socialising amongst each other, not being able to get some freedom of course with having to distance. But with things changing our lives and nor being able to to be normal since the lockdown, I am hoping that things can get better for all of us. Since the lockdown level 4, I have had to work all throughout, as I am an essential working at Bernadette House and Hospital, so I am glad that I was able to help our those in need of it during the time, also that I had help and support from my partner with the kid's ar home. Since level 3, with people being able to go back to work, myself and my partner retuning, we had no other choice but to put our children into childcare and school, we had a few doubts about it only due to what's been going on, but I also felt that our children would actually be safer at childcare than anywhere else. I knew that the centre will in all do everything they can to keep a safe and happy environment for our children, therefore we made the move. Since them being back at the centre, which they missed entirely, they have become more addicted to washing their hands, knowing that I know they have learnt to look after themselves and why we do it. has been an easy but successful lesson learnt. So, alert l3 has made me feel happy and blessed knowing that having BestStart in our lives, my children love and adore every one of you. My children are always well looked after and safe.
