At Coast Boulevard, our Valentine's day was filled with love, creativity, and meaningful moments together.
The day provided a beautiful opportunity for children and teachers to celebrate kindness, friendship, and connection within our learning community.
Throughout the day, the children explored a range of Valentines inspired art activities. Using paint, collage materials, and recycled resources, they created hearts, cards, and colourful artwork to share with those they care about.
These experiences encouraged creativity while also supporting the development of fine motor skills and self-expression. A strong focus of the day was on spending time together and recognising the importance of relationships. The children engaged in group activities, shared stories, and participated in collaborative art experiences where they worked alongside their peers.
These moments helped foster a sense of belonging and strengthened friendships across the centre. We also took time to talk about what we love and what kindness looks like in our everyday lives, helping a friends, using kind words, and showing care for others.
These conversations supported the children in understanding empathy and positive social interactions. Valentine's Day at Coast Boulevard was not just about hearts and crafts; it was about celebrating the connections we build each day.
It was a day full of laughter, creativity, and appreciation for the wonderful community we share.
