We Nurture the Wairua of Every Child

At BestStart Coast Boulevard, we nurture little bodies and minds, understanding the importance of healthy eating and regular exercise for children's well-being. Our large outdoor area offers plenty of opportunities for physical activities. We focus on your child’s physical and mental health, providing a balanced environment that encourages both active play and quiet moments. We also have a mobile hairdresser who visits every six weeks, so that if your child needs a haircut it will be taken care of at our centre.

Our experienced teachers ignite children's imaginations through play, turning every moment into a learning experience. Whether embarking on bear hunts or constructing giant skyscrapers, we support your child's curiosity and sense of adventure. We also prioritize creating a sense of belonging by celebrating diversity and ensuring that every child feels welcomed into our centre whānau.

Our nurturing environment is designed to support children at every stage of development. For babies, we offer specialized care in well-resourced indoor areas and shaded outdoor spaces perfect for exploration. Older children enjoy a thoughtfully structured learning space with opportunities to mix, mingle, and engage in our dynamic outdoor program.

We had the difficult task of deciding to move our daughter from her old daycare. But what a great decision to move to Beststart Coast Boulevard! Our daughter is so happy there & even talks about going on her days off. The center is a beautiful and calm space with a huge outdoor area which was really important to us. I'm especially impressed with the communication, open, friendly, honest & fun. It seams they are really building a lovely community here & i cant recommend it enough. 5 stars for location, staff, layout & equipment.

We have been so happy with moving our daughter to BestStart Coast Boulevard. The teachers are so caring and have made the transition really easy. My daughter loves the teachers and is loving all the toys and the activities provided. One of the big bonuses for me is not having to battle the Mount traffic in the morning anymore as it’s a quick 2 minutes down the road instead of a 30min round trip

It’s more like family to me here. Sharn is so amazing always there whenever I need emotional support. Rosie and all other staff been taking so much care like it’s their own kids and Angela is like grand mum for my daughter .
