At BestStart Coast Boulevard, we nurture both the bodies and minds of our tamariki, understanding the vital role that healthy eating, movement, and emotional well-being play in a child's development.

Our spacious outdoor area is a haven for active play, offering endless opportunities to run, climb, explore, and connect with nature. We balance this with calm, quiet spaces where children can relax, reflect, and recharge.

We have a mobile hairdresser who visits our centre every six weeks and we offer a range of engaging extracurricular activities such as playball, dance classes and swimming lessons.

Every culture is valued and celebrated at Coast as part of our daily learning. We recognise and embrace the diverse backgrounds of our tamariki and their whānau, weaving their traditions, languages, and celebrations into our programme.

From Matariki to cultural festivals such as the Latin American Festival, and through our “Travel Around the World” curriculum, children are encouraged to explore and share the richness of many cultures. This helps them to develop pride in who they are, while also learning to respect and appreciate others, building a strong sense of identity, belonging, and community.
