This month had been more about music and dance movements in our baby room. Daffodil day was celebrated with some messy painting experiences and dressing up in yellow. Celebrating children’s exciting milestones like walking and language development are always fun in the room. Toddler room focussed on building relationships with the means of several exciting and fun-filled learning experiences like marble-painting, nature painting and gardening.

Pohutukawa room focussed on learning about different cultures and concepts through celebrations and experiments. The major focus of the room had been developing problem-solving ability in children. Kea room and Tui room had fun with their project ‘Being Kaitiakitanga’ where children had ample of opportunities to explore nature and serve as environment steward. Children dug clay out and loved being creative with clay modelling. Construction with bamboos and bricks has not been less fun at all as it challenged children’s creativity and imagination. Even during the lockdown period we stayed connected to our families online and engaged our children well through zoom meetings.
