Fun in the school holidays
The tamariki at BestStart Kelvin Street had an awesome time during the school holidays. The children explored experiences such as face painting. Face painting is a great opportunity for children to choose a design that allows for self-expression. The designs chosen shows the children's interests as they explore their identity in our safe environment.
Bubbles and balloons are another example of all the fun we were able to explore. Our children had an absolute blast popping bubbles and sometimes balloons! Reaching to bounce the bubbles in the air and popping the bubbles is an experience that supports the development of hand-eye coordination and manipulate skills.
