Fun Time Mat Time
Glenn from Whangarei Libraries visited us to have his Fun Time Mat Time. We had songs, dance and different exercises that kept us moving and grooving. He also read us the story “Angela’s Aeroplane” that made us operate an aeroplane and turned us into rocketship. The other book entitled “Bananas” prompted us to use our own words to retell the story. Glenn also gave us colourful scarves that we turned into different things like scarves, hats, masks and finally a bus that we took for a ride through the Wheels on the Bus song. Glenn’s Fun Time Mat Time is always a delight for us. We are able to move our bodies and use our creativity and imagination that gave us different things and brought us to different places.
