Fun times in the nursery at BestStart Barrington

This is some of the fun things that we have been up to in the nursery at BestStart Barrington recently.

We have been  exploring with our senses recently and getting hands-on with our experimenting. We filled up the water trough to play with, and provided scoops and jars to explore with. The children poured the water over their hands (and feet) to feel its texture and watch as it flowed off our fingers and toes into the trough again. 

Some friends then taste tested the water (and sand) and smiled at the kaiako as it flowed over their skin. We will continue to provide opportunities for the children to explore with all their senses in the coming weeks, especially on these hot Summer days.
