Fun with water play and sensory experiences
As usual our nursery family has been super busy and having lots of fun as we head into summer. The warmer weather gives us plenty of opportunities to explore our outside environment, especially with water play and sensory experiences, two things that infants and toddlers love! The children have been doing lots of painting, using brushes and even paint in spray bottles. The spray bottles took a little bit of practice as they required a lot of hand-eye coordination and persistence, however it was awesome to see some of our older children using lots of patience and perseverance as they mastered this new skill, and we had some pretty amazing pieces of art! We will keep offering this experience to the children over the next few weeks.
