Getting busy in the sunshine
At BestStart Omokoroa we have thoroughly being enjoying this beautiful late Spring weather. Some of the activities our children are really enjoying are gardening (this includes giving the plants lots of water in the mornings and afternoons), building at the carpentry table, collage art in the gardens, and of course lots of fun water play activities. We are seizing the moments and enjoying lots of sunny picnics outside as well, usually accompanied by some relaxing music and one of our kaiako reading a book.
We are incredibly lucky to have a centre with a beautiful outdoor setting that wraps around all four classrooms enabling us to all see each other and enjoy sharing these special moments together.
