Messy play is always enjoyable for infants and toddlers. They can appreciate the feel of the slime on their hands and not feel that they need to produce anything, just enjoy. They squished and squeezed the foam between their hands, and spread it all over the table.

When these activities are offered the tamariki (children) can come and go as they please. The kaiako (teachers) scoop it up and it all begins again. Relaxing and soothing.
