Getting our garden ready for Matariki
As we are about to celebrate Matariki, we have decided to re-do our garden at BestStart Fairy Springs. We talked about different types of vegetables that we could plant in our garden. After making our list of vegetable seedlings, we went to Bunnings to get them. The tamariki helped us push the trolley, pick the seedlings, and put them in the trolley. After we got everything, we needed, we got to play on the playground at Bunnings. A few days later, with the help of our tamariki, we planted the seedlings. We can't wait to watch these seedlings grow and learn how to be kaitiaki!
