Getting SLIMED for Plunket Fundraiser
May has flown by in a flash, we look back on dryer days with longer hours of daylight.
At the Home of The Brave deciding how we wanted to raise money for PLUNKET this year, was a no-brainer. Our Tamariki and Kaiako were only to keen to watch one of the Kaiako get slimmed. Each Kaiako had their own Jar for donations, where Whānau, Tamariki and Kaiako could put in donations toward PLUNKET. By the end of the week the jar with the most money was the sacrifice, the one to be slimed.
It was pretty close for a while between two of our Kaiako, however when some generous last-minute donors added their contributions it was over for one lucky Kaiako. To say the Tamariki and Kaiako enjoyed watching this would be a serious understatement! Thanks to our generous donations we managed to raise $102.9 for PLUNKET!
