Over the past month we have all been engaged in mahi toi and pūrākau – each room in the centre was given the time to paint and connect with one or our Atua in our rākau panels – as we painted each Atua we engaged in pūrākau – learning about their creation and their realms of influence.

This was a beautifully connecting experience across the entire centre. When we had finished we proudly hung our Atua in our entry – the first thing you see as you step into our space, our Atua to guide us, to greet us, and to nurture us.
